Hire Charges
We have Premium (Full Suspension) or Standard (Front suspension) mountain bikes that are suitable for all of the cycle routes in the forest. We also have children’s bikes, tag-a-longs and trailers. We do not hire out bikes suitable for the downhill area.
How it all works:
- Wear appropriate clothing, not sandals/flip flops.
- Pre-book your bike if possible. STRONGLY ADVISED!
- Arrive in good time.
- At hire desk, fill in paperwork, the staff member will advise you on routes.
- You’ll be given a correctly sized bike and a briefing on both the bike and general safety.
- Go ride!

£200.00 Credit card preauthorisation required for standard bikes + Photo ID either a Driving Licence or Passport and utility bill with current address.
£1000 Credit card preauthorisation required for premium bikes + Photo ID either a Driving Licence or Passport and utility bill with current address.
Riders must wear a helmet at all times.
All bikes come with a helmet.
Last hire is 2PM
All bikes to be returned by 4PM.

Payment details
We accept Switch, Solo and all major credit cards. Proof of ID and home address will be required when paying with cash.
To pre-book bikes please call the shop on 01889 575170. Payment in full is needed at the time of booking so please have card details ready.
